Have any of you read the new John Stossel book? I just finished it and boy did it get my blood pressure up. I recommend you pick up a copy. It's a great Libertarian read with out being too esoteric. The book is written in plain English so you can give it to that friend of yours who just can't seem to grasp why you're a Libertarian (though you've explained it too many times already).
Best,
Jay
Dear Jay;
Since John Stossel writes a lot of books - what is the name of the latest newest book you read which you are recommending we all read???

Jay,
I have it on CD as well as the hardcover book, and I completely agree with you -- it's one of my top picks for non-libertarians to read.
By the way, do you live in San Francisco? Registered Libertarian? LP member? Both? I don't recall hearing from you before. Hope you can make it out to some of our events!

Starchild, Yes I live in SF and I'm a Libertarian (strange but true). I am new to the whole LPSF thing but you and I have met before. It was a couple of months back at a gathering with Badnarik. I believe the name of the pub was Harington's bar and grill. We talked for a while about parking meters.

Oh yes... parking meters... 8) Hope to see you again soon. Are you doing any activism for the upcoming election? Like to help with my campaign?
<<< Starchild >>>
I'd be more than happy to help. What do you need help with or what did you have in mind? I'm more than happy to do what I can.
Jay
Well, the most immediate need I have is getting a website up, if you have experience with that or can find anyone willing to help. Do you have artistic or Photoshop ability? Want to call media outlets and try to schedule interviews? Try to book speaking appearances at schools? Solicit endorsements and compile a list of supporters? Distribute campaign fliers? Chalk the sidewalks? There are lots of things that could be done. What kind of political work or activism are you interested in?
Yours in liberty,
