HMO Act of 1970

Dear Ron,

Would you supply a link to the HMO Act of 1970? I could not find it and
suspect it's another one of them libertarian hoaxes.

Thanks.

Warm regards, Michael

Dear Dr. Mike;

It is no hoax as it allowed the creation of HMO's with which there would have not been HMO's.

Ron,

Only kidding about the hoax part.

But I would like a link to the act. I can't find it.

Warm regards, Michael

Dear Ron,

Apparently, it's the "HMO Act of 1973" (not 1970).

According to the history of HMOs you sent, HMOs were already in existence at
the time, appearing in Washington State in 1910.

It looks as if HMOs were originally a free market creation, although I've
heard libertarians (including Harry Browne) blame it on the Govt.

Warm regards, Michael
