Equality California's appeal would be much more compelling if your organization would identify some other spending you want cut in order to pay for maintaining this funding. Unfunded demands for spending are irresponsible. If you need help identifying some other areas in which government spending could be reduced, please let me know, and I would be happy to help with this project. Going still deeper into debt is not a realistic option, nor is taking yet more money out of the pockets of the citizenry. It's time for government to learn to spend within its means. I hope Equality California wants to be part of the solution.
Please respond at your earliest opportunity with your ideas for cutting less vital spending.
