I hadn’t seen that. The article is interesting, but vague with regard to what it means to be on the list. Perhaps Stratfor just has a file on him because he’s a VIP. Normally, I’d hold judgement until other firms performed additional, independent analysis, but I noticed the article was almost 3 years old, so I did a little Googling and found:

Sarwark stated that he had received a gift membership from a family member for Stratfor’s publication, which would line up with the company’s statement in 2011 that the list acquired by hacking was a list of subscribers to their newsletter.

Thanks for that.

Nick Sarwark is also no longer the head of the LP. He chose not to seek another term last year, and delegates elected (Cal Berkeley alumnus ) Joe Bishop-Henchman to be the new chair (Nick endorsed him).

Nick’s wife Valerie also got elected as an at-large representative (the position I formerly held) to the Libertarian National Committee. Their family moved to New Hampshire as part of the Free State Project, and Nick ran for a district attorney position there (he lost, but probably will run again).

Love & Liberty,

((( starchild )))
