Guess which day the next hearing in the Prop. 35 case is happening?

This Monday, December 17 -- which just happens to be International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers. How appropriate. The federal courthouse in SF is the gorgeous old edifice on the corner of 7th and Mission streets. It's worth a visit just to see the interior if you haven't been inside before (not that what *happens* inside the building is always so pretty, unfortunately):

WHAT: Lawsuit to overturn unconstitutional requirements in Prop. 35
WHERE: Federal Courthouse, 7th & Mission Streets, Judge Henderson
WHEN: Monday Dec. 17, 10:00 a.m.

More information at the link below on the state of the ACLU/Electronic Frontier Foundation lawsuit to overturn the part of the anti-sex-work law that California voters were misled into passing last month that concerns new requirements for persons labeled as "sex offenders" -- currently over 73,000 Californians, according to the suit -- mandating that they report any online profiles, screen names, etc., they use to law enforcement.
