[GrassrootsLibertarians] UPDATE - Re: Early bird discount deadline for LPC convention (March 2-4, Ventura) registration extended

Unfortunately yes. There was an attempt to do something like this at the national level as well, so it's something to watch out for. How are conventions held in the Utah LP with regard to delegates and the program, and what do Utah party bylaws say on the subject?

Beau Cain (the Libertarian Party of California's party's paid office staffer) seconded what the convention organizer told me about the early bird registration deadline extension and more speaker schedule details coming soon, and added:

As in the past, there will be committee
meetings on Friday afternoon, and registration will
open around 5 p.m. Business Sessions will be from
~9:00 a.m. until ~5:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, and
the Saturday evening banquet is scheduled to begin at
7:00 p.m.

If you want to know what the agenda will be, it's
published in Convention Rule 6. This is as much as I
know about the convention.

I've copied Convention Rule six from the bylaws ( see http://ca.lp.org/by-laws-minutes ) and pasted it below for reference.
