Many of you heard that my dad Len Harrison passed away on April 6, but
to those who haven't, I'm sorry to deliver the sad news. Either way, I
wanted to let you know that we'll be having a picnic potluck at
Delores Park on Saturday to celebrate Len's life and then will be
having a screening of some of the videos he made in the evening, and I
wanted to encourage you to come.
I'm not sure how well, if at all, each of you knew my dad, but didn't
want to leave anyone out. And I'm sorry it's taken me this long to
send this out, but somehow I just wanted to push it back and not deal
with it for as long as I could. I imagine you can understand.
At 1 p.m. on May 23, we'll gather at Delores Park, near the picnic
tables, to enjoy food and drink and each other's company and remember
Len. I'll bring as much of both as I can, but please feel free to
bring something to add to the table if it works to do so. But more
importantly please feel welcome either way.
At 7 p.m. we'll screen some of the videos that Len made and pass the
mic so people can share their parting memories of my dad. — I'll let
you know where as soon as I confirm the spot.
Hope you can make it, and please feel free to forward this on to
people who knew Len but might not have received this message.
