I note the following paragraph in the WSJ editorial board's op-ed piece:

Voters can afford to indulge experiments like Mr. Boudin’s partly because they benefit from protection by the federal authorities. U.S. Attorney for Northern California David Anderson in August launched a major initiative to “combat endemic drug trafficking” in the Tenderloin.

  Please Mr. U.S. Attorney, don't "benefit" us with any more of your federal "protection"! It's immoral, doesn't work, and we don't want to be forced to pay for it!
