At our last meeting, I announced I would be speaking at Dave Goggin's monthly dinner on 1/12/07 on the topic, "Why Self-esteem Is Harmful to Your Happiness." To my great disappointment, Dave is sick so the dinner is postponed.
If any of you--one or more--wish to discuss this with me over dinner this Friday anyway, please contact me. I would be happy to do so.

Sorry to hear Dave is sick. Is he still on this list? Seems like I haven't seen or heard from him in a while. I don't have any great interest in this particular topic, but I'd be happy to get together with you for dinner on Friday to talk about whatever.

Area at the end of January. He has 2 debates (one at
Boalt Law School and one at Hastings) and one speech.
At Boalt he is debating Law Professor John Woo, who is
famous for advocating that the president be completely
unrestrained in how we treat "enemy combatants".
