FREE Proponent/Opponent ballot arguments due TOMORROW at noon!

When it rains, it pours! There are three revenue measures for which the official opponent slot is up for grabs in the lottery tomorrow. Perhaps we can seek to become the official opponent of one or more of them?

Proposition AA (vehicle registration fee) - http://sfgov2.org/ftp/uploadedfiles/elections/candidates/NOV2010_vehicle_registration_ordinance.pdf
-$10 increase to annual fee due for each motor vehicle registered in SF (expected to cost taxpayers about $5 million annually)

Proposition A ($46 million earthquake retrofit bond) - http://sfgov2.org/ftp/uploadedfiles/elections/candidates/NOV2010_earthquake_safety_bond.pdf
-funds deferred loans and grants to pay costs of seismic retrofits to at-risk multi-story wood structures

Proposition J (hotel tax increase) - http://sfgov2.org/ftp/uploadedfiles/elections/candidates/Nov2010_HotelTax.pdf
-adds an additional 2% surcharge which would go into the city government's general fund, tightens rules requiring collection of existing taxes

Thoughts? Anyone want to take a stab at one of them? You get 300 words to make your case, including names of signers or organizations (e.g. LPSF).
