As a Ron Paul supporter, I agree with your advice. Libertarians who are actually active in our party shouldn't register Republican just to vote for Paul. We need your convention votes to help to keep the LP libertarian, and we need local officers and candidates.
I haven't heard any rumor of Ron Paul planning to endorse Mitt Romney, but think it is complete nonsense. I would be amazed if he did any such thing. What has Romney done to merit such an endorsement?
