This is indeed discouraging. On one hand, the City is all proud of defying the Feds over NDAA and other resolutions; and on the other hand, I am wondering if the City is going after grants from FEMA to fell trees and other crazy stuff. Berkeley and Oakland applied for the grants and got them; I am wondering if the 10,000 trees to be felled in Golden Gate Park are the result of the same. Unfortunately, I can't find such information so I could jump all over the Board of Sups
