And this is coming from someone who doesn't even own a car. San Franciscans simply don't want to pay more to support bloated government.
Six billion dollars a year plus should be plenty of money to run a city with less than a million people. If you think otherwise, cut salaries and pensions instead, starting with your own! Try setting a good example!
If you can't/won't do that, maybe you can find some extra money in the $100 million "emergency communications" boondoggle just passed by the Board of Supervisors. Paying for chronic deficit spending on the backs of ordinary San Franciscans needs to stop!
