  Excellent suggestion. I would also suggest regular phone calls to
members -- maybe a couple times a year. Calling people doesn't cost
anything except our time.

Thank you, Justin. I am a believer that physical mail is needed
regularly (Newsletters, announcements, etc.) as a membership
acquisition and retention tool. We have set a budget for the
Newsletter. Perhaps we should also set a budget for other mailings.
Or, prior to that have some sort of plan for what we will do on a
regular basis communications-wise to acquire and retain members. We
have chosen not to join MARA, so the planning and execution is up to
the LPSF.
