Dear All;
Attached is the final version of the LPSF memberhsip cover letter to be sent to 100 registered Libertarians culled from the voter registration roles. The envelope will include the cover letter printed on quality bonded letterhead with an LPSF membership application a map of the LPSF monthly meeting place and the fancy trifold Libertarian brochure. To save costs I have donated quality level bonded letterhead I have and we will do only one color BW printing.
Please note there is an LPSF statute of liberty golden gate bridge logo as part of the cover letter so give it a chance to download when you open the attachment.
The envelopes will be hand printed with the names and addresses and a PS will be hand printed as well on the letterhead at the meeting. So please bring your penmanship skills and a black or blue ink pen with you to the LPSF meeting on Saturday June 13.
The hundred envelope printing and envelope stuffing and stamping will be done during the regular business meeting as we are all quite capable of multi-tasking and can write and talk at the same time. Sort of like walking and chewing gum at the same time - right?? Uh - right??? Unh Hunh ??
By the terms of the May 9 LPSF meeting the members present voted Marcy and Ron to be given complete and full and total authorization and approval and responsibility by the LPSF members at the meeting to do the cover letter.
Marcy and Ron have so done so with additional editorial editing input from Francoise and Rob. Any further changes will be limited to correcting grammar punctation spelling and minor itsy bitsy teeny tiny small pink polka dotted changes to the actual body copy. Otherwise the cover letter stands as finished by Marcy and Ron with editing by Rob and Francoise.
Lest We Forget. Today June 6th D-Day 65 years ago today during the early morning hours at Normandy thousands of Allied soldiers and sailors and airman paid the ultimate price to begin the process to wrest Occupied Europe from Hitler's Nazism when they crossed the gunfire swept mine laiden beaches and stormed the heights at Sword Juno Omaha and Utah beaches or parachuted behind the beaches to stop attacking forces.
