Hi All! This was the court hearing for one of the "good" lawsuits against Plan Bay Area. I attended and stayed through the whole thing, though I had a hard time following the legalese talk in the court hearing. There was a lot of talk about "underground legislation," something I had never heard of before but was clearly evident in the implementation of Plan Bay Area. Saw many familiar faces there and even met that attorney who always writes arguments against the state ballot measures (Gary Wesley). Though I've always thought his arguments were not well crafted, he seemed much smarter in person and was totally opposed to Plan Bay Area. The fight against Plan Bay Area will continue for a long, long time.

Thank you for going to the hearing and for this post. Was there a result of some kind from this hearing that you could garner? Will the suit move forward?
As I recall, there were 4 major lawsuits. We know for sure the builders one was settled, and the Bay Area Citizens one had its hearing on June 12. I am wondering what happened to the other two. I Googled, but all I can find is old information about the suits being filed back when.
Two wrongs never make a right. However, the tools available to fight Plan Bay Area and its central planning micromanagement of our lives are limited to more lawsuits -- such as the Bay Area Citizens one -- and/or legislation -- such as No Wall on the Waterfront and Restore Transportation Balance. Such choices!
