Mike,
In the late seventies when Whoopie Goldberg began to make the rounds as
a comedianne, I never found her funny, yet people were laughing their
heads off at her "jokes."
Then I met a black woman, "Susan," who told me then she thought Whoopie
was the most unfunny comedianne around. And incredibly, she said people
were laughing at her unfunny jokes because she's black. Susan then said
that Whoopie was an affirmative action comedianne. Now that was funny.
Now, what about Chris Rock? He is certainly unfunny, and that video is
unfunny. I think those white people in Kimmel's audience were no doubt
laughing at that video only because Chris is black. Ergo, Chris Rock is
an affirmative action comedian. (Just as Obama is America's first
Affirmative Action President, but that's for another time to explicate.)
Speaking of the video, what's the point of it? It seems Chris thinks
white people will vote for Romney because he's white, so he assures
white people that Obama is white like them, so it's OK to vote for a
white Obama. Very funny.
Let's see Chris Rock make a similar video to argue that Romney is black,
so to assure the 98% of black voters who, in 2008 voted for and will in
2012, vote for Obama because he's black, that it's OK to vote for a
black Romney. Now, THAT would be funny, and would probably be a rare
moment for Chris to be funny.

I guess some of us have different senses of humor. I laughed out loud at the Chris Rock video. Especially the part about Obama's little family of 4, and then the following picture in which it appears all of Mitt Romney's sons and their children (and maybe it included Mitt Romney's brothers and their descendants) was a very large family group.
And also the party about "Barry" being the 3rd most common male surname for whites.
With a little bit of documention thrown in.

Maybe you'll like this better....
Mike
Romney definitely had better writers than Obama, whose jokes at that event fell flat.
