Challenged to a debate on trade

This just in... No idea who this guy is beyond what he says below, or how he found me. I'm assuming he knows I'm with the Libertarian Party and that he knows we're for free trade and that's why he wrote. I'm potentially willing to debate him, although someone from a group like the Independent Institute who is well versed in this area of public policy might be more qualified if we can find such a person who is interested and Ian is willing to debate him. Thoughts?

Phil,

You make an excellent point about the money. My first thought too was
that Ian Fletcher will no doubt want to attack the status quo as "free
trade", and the job of whoever debates him will be to explain how it
is not free trade. Are you saying that you'd like to be the debater?

Right on, Phil! Since you're our candidate for Congress, this seems
like a good gig for you, if you feel capable of presenting a strong
case for free trade against this economist and author on the topic who
is sure to be well-informed. Assuming no one else has any objections
or contrary ideas, I encourage you to get in touch with Ian Fletcher
(his contact info appears in his email to me below) and let us know
what you arrange.
