Kerry also responded to the young man in the affirmative when he asked Kerry if he had read the book in question. The question was prefaced by a very short and necessary laying of the groundwork. It was not a trivial , or unimportant question. It was an extremely important question that goes to the heart of our Democracy. If difficult questions are not tolerated in a free society, how can conspiracy ideas be contained before they get out of hand. The question goes to why Kerry folded on election day, while Gore fought all the way to the supreme court. No lawyers were flown to Ohio like Gore did in Florida. and yet there is some possibly serious evidence of fraud in the Diebold eltronic voting machines in Ohio . Questions that are well docummented and remain outstanding.
Kerry's bahavior and those of the Florida police stand in contrast to the behavior of Donald Rumsfeld when faced with si similar difficult moment from a retired CIA analyst, Ray Mc Govern. He waved off the security guy who had approached McGovern. In this case Rumsfeld was more of a standup guy than Kerry.

The young man should have been emphatically warned verbally by non law enforcement people and then his microphone turned off. Bringing police in for arrest at such an early stage will have a chilling effect on free speach. I hope he sues and wins . If the ACLU takes up the case, I will contribute.
In a free society, difficult and dissenting questions must be tolerated even if the questioner is a bit impolite. Please look at the video again and retract the factual errors that you wrote if it was forwarded to others. No laws were broken, and no civil warnings were issued to the young man before the fulll force of the law was brought upon him.
