Terry Baum (pronounced "bomb," hence the tongue-in-cheek title and campaign slogan) tried to run for Congress as a Green against Nancy Pelosi in 2004. She is also a playwright, and subsequently wrote a play, in which she stars, about her experience running for office and dealing with the Elections Department, which sought to keep her off the ballot over a stupid technicality. It's a story that Libertarians can definitely appreciate, told with humor in a candid, down-to-earth way. I highly recommend it. And now you'll have one chance to see the newly revised production, at no charge, before she takes the show to New York.
