At least you have made some acknowledgment of the actual conditions facing real people and not subjecting them to the suffering from empty intellectual promises.
People are what they are, not what you want them to be. They do what they do, not what you want them to do. It is the qualities of what gets the President elected, not what you think would make a good president, that reside in the White House.
Donald Trump is who he is, not who I might want him to be, that's for sure. I don't expect him to do what I want him to do. I'm aware of the circumstances that got him elected. I can't do anything about any suffering his empty promises may cause those who actually believed them, and there's little I can do to keep real people from suffering from those promises he may fulfill either, except to continue my work as a freedom activist.
