Ballot Simplification Committee meeting agenda, November 25-December 4

The Ballot Simplification Committee will be meeting this Monday and Tuesday (Nov. 25-26) to discuss the wording of the ballot measure description language to appear in the Voters Handbook for the March 5, 2020 election.

On Monday they will be discussing an "Earthquake Safety and Emergency Response Bond" and on Tuesday a charter amendment on "Retiree Health Care Benefits for Former Employees of the San Francisco Housing Authority". Both days discussion starts at 9:00 a.m. in City Hall Room 408.

No BSC meetings are scheduled for Wednesday-Friday, but then on Monday, Dec. 2, they will be meeting again in Room 400 to hear requests for reconsideration (of wording adopted Nov. 25-26). All this info from the schedule document attached to the message forwarded below.

If you can come to City Hall on Monday or Tuesday to weigh in on the language of these measures, please do! Since they only have one measure scheduled per day to discuss, the meetings may not go very late (possibly end before lunch).
