Ballot Initiative

Now we are getting somewhere! Thanks, Marcy. Though I do think the
decision of which initiative to actually go with would be best decided
by the full group and not just the officers, at least this will give us
some definite guidance.

Yours in liberty,
        <<< Starchild >>>

I would like to summarize and ask for an Ex-Com Vote (Jawj, Mike
Acree, Phil, Marcy). So far, we have (again, please correct me if I
am wrong): Marcy wants the curb rights, Phil wants the curb rights,
Mike Acree has not voted, Jawj has not voted. As far as commitment
goes: Marcy will commit at least one hour a week to whatever
initiative is chosen, Phil has already committed to work, Mike Acree
has stated he cannot help at this time, we have not heard from Jawj.
From the activists not in the ExCom: Mike Denny, Mike Edelstein, and
Starchild have committed their support.

I would like a two part vote from the ExCom within the next two days
(providing a decision and a time table,as Starchild suggested):

1. Do you think we have enough hands on deck right now to go with a
ballot initiative for the November elections? Yes or No

2. If the answer is Yes, which specific initiative from the list do
you pick?

Thanks,

Marcy

Actually, we are no further now than we were before I asked for a
vote. We will be somewhere when we get the votes! If/Once we get
the ExCom votes, we can move to the next step.
