Hi All,
Joel Edgardio ran for Supervisor of District 7 in the last election. We supported him as the best we had among the progressive-leaning lot. He got a job at the Examiner recently as a regular reporter (probably replacing Melissa Griffin as the resident “capitalist” at the newspaper).
We have taken the YES side on both Propositions B & C, while the “NO on the Waterfront” fat cats are blanketing the City with their balderdash. Joel has a good article in today’s Examiner about the propositions. He needs our help with some positive comments and “Likes” – or the brain-washed folk will succeed in discouraging him from saying things like “a little capitalism is a good thing” again!
BTW, the 8 Washington project is not entirely on government land, as some have been led to believe. 80% is private property, and 20% is owned by the City (who will get leasing fees from the project).

Here is the link to the article which I neglected to place in my previous post. Sorry. If the link does not work for you, just Google San Francisco Examiner, and you will see the 8 Washington Street article.
