This is so sad and disgusting I could spit! Why did they feel they needed to bring out the SWAT team to visit an animal shelter over the "issue" of a baby deer? Why was that even an issue? It was an animal shelter, for God's sake! Was it really necessary to kill the fawn that was being cared for temporarily before it could be taken to a wildlife refuge? Is there no reason or compassion left in this world?
