I seriously doubt that 33% of the new budget goes to defense or defense
related items. In FY2007, those items apparently totaled around 23% of the
budget: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Fbs_us_fy2007.png, and touched
25% only if you pro-rate a corresponding share (1/4 of 8%) of interest on
the debt.
