Announcements from the Libertarian Party of San Francisco

Dear Friends,
We have some announcements that we hope will interest you:
~ Today, March 13, we were informed by the San Francisco Elections Department that the ballot argument we submitted was chosen as the official ballot opponent for Proposition A on the upcoming June elections. We believe there is an alternative to expensive bonds for financing of infrastructure improvements, and we have said so in our ballot argument.
~ There are many events of interest to liberty-loving folks going on in the Bay Area all the time. We try to list as many as we can in “Bay Area Events” on our website www.lpsf.org http://www.lpsf.org. Here are some.
* Why More Climate Debate is Essential, March 18
* Senator Rand Paul at UC Berkeley, March 19
* Of Mosquitoes and Pension, March 20
* Bay Area Anarchist Book Fair, March 22
* Ron Paul at Cal State Hayward, April 9
* The Snowden Effect, April 10
~ Our monthly meetings are usually on the 4th Floor of the San Francisco Main Library. However, our next meeting, on April 12, will be different. We will meet at the Main Library, but on the 1st Floor Conference Room.
~ We will be taking the opportunity of being the official opponent of Proposition A to spread our message of fiscal prudence. Remember, although the City boasts economic growth, there are pockets of deficit and looming unfunded pension liabilities.
