Ourpower-mad state legislature is out of control and completely insane (which youalready knew). The California State Senate has just passed a bill, SB 1192,that would forbid restaurants from serving any drink but milk or water to kids.

Itsounds like a joke, but it's all too true. Our contol-freak legislature haszero respect for personal liberty. We are going down a very dark path, becausestatism isn't creeping in California, it's rampaging. What a farce. Don't they go back and forth on whether or not cow's milk is good for you too? I'd bet there's some money behind that. Thanks for sending this, Jon.

Hey Nick,
I suppose our betters do go back and forth on what is good for us. After all, "Nanny Knows Best."
I've just sent my message to the governor urging a veto. I hope you'll all do likewise.
