Thank you, Aubrey! Announcement of meeting posted on website and Facebook. Also on LPSF website is an article briefly summarizing Plan Bay Area, which powers that be say has nothing to do with the UN Agenda 21. Ha, yeh right.
Marcy
Hi Marcy! Thanks for the announcement and also the article, which I just read. I think you were a little bit nicer than I would have been writing about Plan Bay Area. As someone who loves single family housing and my car (and would like to continue to have those lifestyle options available), I consider Plan Bay Area a complete nightmare, and I could not be as objective as you sound in your article. While you are clearly skeptical of the whole plan, as always you provide a nice balance.
Thanks!
Aubrey
Hi Aubrey and All,
Better light than heat!! BTW, like running a household or a business or anything else, money is the ultimate venue through which action is accomplished. The LPSF treasury is not bad, but if we are to continue our work in providing the Libertarian side of stories to the general public, lapsed members need to renew, and those with particularly large hearts can add a few donation bucks to their basic memberships of $25.
The ballot arguments are coming up, and we will submit free ones. However, as I recall, the times have been very few when our free arguments succeeded in making the voters' booklet. To ensure our voice is heard, we would need to submit paid arguments.
Regards,
Marcy
