960 Am

While I did a pretty good job yesterday on 960, and it was great toget a little coverage,
nevertheless , ist is discouraging that I failed to bring home the point in a convincing matter
that capitalism as we know it has nothing to do with free markets. It has to do with a
government monopoly granted to private parties to abuse as they choose with impunity.

Dear Phil,

Thank you for your efforts!! The opposition is having a field day
seizing the opportunity provided by the current meltdown they
themselves created to slam capitalism. I am thankful that you are out
there making an effort to set the record straight.

For example, I was pleasantly surprised to see that Market Watch ran
this article, but did not like the situation described as "Disaster
Capitalism." http://www.marketwatch.com/news/story/14-reasons-
main-street-loses/story.aspx?guid={F63EC448-D9C1-4138-AC18-97BF0FE68EE3}

Bob Barr did an OK job on the NewsHour, but got wimpy when asked what
would Libertarians "do" to deal with the current financial crisis; you
probably did a better job addressing that issue, Phil. BTW, Barr's
newsletter today says the NBC interview has been changed from tonight
to Monday.
