Dear Everyone;
Shortly you should receive a notice that the 22 ballot initiatives legal text is in a file on the lpsf yahoo and activists group servers. It will probably work easier for the download to save the file then open up as there are embeds in the word.doc for copies of the basic initiative statements.
This Saturday August 9th at 3:00 pm at Milanos Pizza 9th and Irving at the monthly LPSF meeting we will conduct a straw poll on those ballot initiatives. We will try to narrow the list down so we can have a smooth formal recommendation of those ballot initiatives at the Saturday Sept. 13 LPSF meeting. Unh Hunh!
Please print out and bring along a copy of the initiatives. It's 8 pages long so to save paper and a forest you should be able to do back and front printing on the same page.
The files if showing up as underlined are for the pdf's of the full legal text. You should be able to click on the url and get the pdf for your review of the legal text. I have included the gist of the initiatives under each heading.
There are some very obvious easy to vote on issues and some which will call for genteel discussion. Unh Hunh!
