I don't believe any particular group is *officially* sponsoring this; this
group, if established, would be its own thing.

However, I learned of the meeting from SF SOS, so I suspect that the
so-called moderates are behind it, the same folks behind SF SOS, Plan C,
Care Not Cash, etc. Not bad people, but definitely not libertarians. Yet.

this is designed to be a self-governing grp, being publicised by various
interested parties to anyone who may be interested.
so there is no "leader" or "sponsor", just interested persons and groups.
so for example, republicans will be there; many business and small bsuienss
and neighborhood and homeowner grps will be represented. etc

the main point is that by splintering various taxpayers, the govt is able to
increase taxes sequentially for the various groups.
we need to collectively band together and fight ALL increases, demanding end
to waste, mismanagement and fraud. it will be a countervailing force to the
special interests who try to extract our money by means of the govt's taxing
power.
in unity, there is strength.

i recommend that libertarians participate and take an active role.
it will also be a gd forum to educate like-minded citizens.

Thank you for the response Chris and Sarosh. This meeting sounds like
a good opportunity for us to take action on what we have been merely
talking about! I will be there!
